Anderson Shelters

Our half term homework was to design and build our own Anderson Shelters. These shelters were used in World War II during the blitz, they were built in people's back gardens. We have used a range of materials to construct our own. Miss Wilkinson thinks they are fantastic. Have a look, can you spot the animals, washing lines, ponds and vegetables?

Kane brought in a WWII helmet from the D-Day landings and a bullet from a spitfire.

Well done Year 6, what a talented lot you are 😁

Fizz Pop Science Assembly

We were treated to a science assembly from the fizz pop company. Sarah was excellent and really brought the fun element into Science. We are looking forward to her club starting after half term.

Dodgeball Action

We've been honing our dodgeball skills this term. There's been plenty of action...and a few injuries! We've learnt how to work as a team and be gracious in both winning and defeat, which we think are key skills.
Here are some shots of us...we couldn't decide which ones were the best so we've included them all😏

We'd like to thank Mr Langdon for such awesome dodgeball sessions!
